ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany car dealer is offering a reward for information leading to the recovery of his car, stolen off his lot in broad daylight and caught on surveillance video.
On the video two men are seen standing by the maroon BMX X-5 just before one Thursday. Then those two men jumped in that $17,000 car and took off. The dealer's employees chased them to South Madison where they lost them.
The car is owner Danny McDonald's personal car. He left the keys in it, and those bold thieves grabbed it.
McDonald said crime is a problem at his lot. McDonald said "It's getting worse. They are not stealing for food or to survive. They are just thieves."
McDonald is offering a reward to anyone with information leading him to the recovery of his car.
