ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A Clay County State Park could be in danger of closing if state leaders don't include enough money for state parks in the Georgia's 2010 budget.

Senator Freddie Powell Sims says she's working tirelessly to make sure the funding for Bagby State Park makes it into the Senate's version of the budget.

It still hasn't been approved with just two days left in the session.

The park is located on the shores of Lake George and features picnic sites, a marina and boat ramp, and a 60 room lodge.
