TURNER CO. - Those of you in the Turner County area will need to stay logged on to walb.com for the latest severe weather watches and warnings. That's because your weather radios likely will not alert you of dangerous storms.

The National Weather Service tower having the problem is on Hill Road in Turner County. They are having trouble with a phone line and watches and warnings are not transmitting properly.

The National Weather Service says they are working to fix the problem but they aren't sure how long it will take.
