TIFTON, GA (WALB) - Investigators still don't know the motive for a double shooting in Tifton even after the shooter confessed to the crime. Two men were wounded in that shooting Tuesday night, and the man behind the gun is now behind bars.

47-year-old Frank Bell was arrested early this morning for the shooting at this apartment at 1621 North Park Avenue. Thomas Newsome and Delvon Brave were both admitted to Tift Regional Medical Center with gunshot wounds to the chest.

"Just shortly after 11:00 PM, the officers received a call from Tift Regional Medical Center saying there was a gun shot victim there. When the officer actually responded, they found out that there was actually two victims," said Tifton Detective Lee Dunston.

Investigators say the shooting may have stemmed from a previous argument. Bell is charged with two counts of aggravated assault. Newsome is listed in good condition. Brave is out of the hospital.
