The search continues tonight for a man accused of trying to rob a Cordele motel. Police say 24-year-old Benny James Johnson the third jumped over the counter of the Ashburn Inn on East 16-th Avenue June 13th when no one was at the counter then ran away when an employee walked in on him trying to get money from the cash register.More >>
ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Police are looking for a gunman who shot a woman on a south Albany street Monday night.
A little after 9 o'clock, Latricia Williams was shot in the back in the 600 block of West Highland Avenue. Williams was taken by ambulance to Phoebe Putney Hospital, but Police won't tell us her condition.
They're looking for a black man, 5'8" to 5'11" with a slim to medium build. He was wearing a camouflage jumpsuit and a black mask. Police think he jumped into a gold Honda.
