Albany- Researchers have explored the possibility of local companies doing business in Sub-Saharan Africa, and they say its very profitable.

Professors hope businesses will take advantage of the African market.

"They need all types of products, services, and merchandise, and this is a way we can grow our local businesses, so its a great economic opportunity," says ASU Professor Dr. Everett Cordy.

Cordy says some of the businesses at todays workshop include Albany Electric, Bell Electric and several government agencies.
