ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Gangs continue to deface properties in Albany. It falls on taxpayers to get it cleaned up.

Officers were called to the 700 block of 1st Avenue after gang symbols were spray painted onto two homes.

One of the symbols was spray painted onto a brick column of a vacant home. Graffiti was also spray painted on the side of another home.

Code enforcement was notified of the vandalism. Albany Police are investigating.
