ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Two Marines who were deployed to Iraq return to Albany earlier.

Lance Corporals Joe Erdman and Michael Welsh returned to Albany and were greeted by family and their fellow Marines.

The two have been in Iraq for about ten months.

Both men say they're proud of the work they did overseas, but they did miss the comforts of home.

"Home cooked food for one, chow hall gets kind of old after a while, and simple luxuries, like having my own bathroom," LCpl Joe Erdman, MCLB-Albany 2nd Detachment.

"Just coming back it's a nice feeling, we haven't really had any down time, so I'm looking forward to the next few days," LCpl Michael Welsh, MCLB-Albany 2nd Detachment.

The Marines performed logistics duties in Iraq.
