ALBANY, GA (WALB) -An Albany woman reports the theft of her income tax return cash, which she had buried in her backyard.

Shanace Peterson reported she buried $3600 from her income tax return in a box under the storage house in her backyard last week.

Thursday she told Albany Police she discovered someone had dug the box out of the ground and stolen it. Police are still investigating.
