High school basketball starts ready for GACA all-star game

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The high school basketball season is not officially over until this weekend.

Some of the state's top players will be in Savannah playing in the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association all-star game.

The south roster will feature Worth County forward Jerome Hamilton and Ternell Davis from Class-A state runner-up Turner County.

Jerome Hamilton is looking forward to the game.

The future Wichita State Shocker is excited about the chance to play against the top senior players in the state.

Jerome Hamilton said "It is very exciting. It is good experience. It is something you always want. Just to be among the very best is something you always want."

The GACA girls all-star game is Saturday at Savannah State.

April Peeples from Americus-Sumter and Macon County's Porsha Hadley have been selected to play for the South team.
