Sylvester, GA (WALB) -
The Worth County softball team is coming off one of the greatest seasons in school history.
Much of that success came from the pitching arm of the team's only senior, Keri Hathcock. Keri has started as Worth County's top pitcher for four years. Friends and family gathered with Keri Tuesday as she signed a scholarship to play at Andrew College in Cuthbert. Keri says Andrew was an easy choice.
"I fell in love with the people and I was able to meet the other softball players so I really liked them too so, and it's also small so I'll get to play right off the bat so I think it's a great fit."
Hathcock pitched 3 no hitters and the first perfect game in school history.
