ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  With game week here, the South Georgia Wildcats continuing to add more beef to the front.

The team over the weekend announced that lineman Courtney Young will be back for a third season.

And former Albany State star Andre Slappey from Americus is expected to have his contract finalized soon.

The big question heading into Saturday's season opener is who will play at quarterback.

Coach Rodney Blackshear says none of three have stood out just yet but that he will cut one before the game and the other will play Saturday in Florida.

Rodney Blackshear said "It is a still a work in progress. I talk to those guys every day. I told them I need to see something out of them. They have all been pretty much even. Unfortunately we can't carry three quarterbacks. We can only carry two."

The Wildcats open the season Saturday at Florida and the home opener is next Saturday against the Firecats.
