Macon, GA (WALB) -  The final buzzer was music to the ears of the Westover Patriots Friday night in Macon. Westover outlasted Gainesville for a 59-56 win earning a trip to the state championship game.

The Patriots were up by three with seconds to go and Keodric Sadler couldn't get a shot off before the final horn.

Terrance Noel led Westover with 23 points.

"We didn't play our best basketball but we were still able to come back and win so I'm real proud of them" said Westover head coach Dallis Smith.

Westover guard Terrance Noel said " Coach told us at halftime that is was our game if everyone came out and played hard more than likely we're gonna come out on top."

Greg Green said " We just come out and fight every night our coach has been telling us that we'll win. So we gonna come out and fight and do what we have to do and whenever we come out on the court we're gonna leave it there. If we fight we're gonna come out on top."

Westover will take on South Atlanta Saturday at 8:45 in Macon for the State Championship. If Westover can win the Patriots would capture their first state title since 2001.
