ASHBURN, GA (WALB) - The Turner County boys are getting ready for tomorrow's class A state championship game against Whitefield Academy.
The Rebels are back in the state title game for a second straight year and lost in the state semifinals two years ago.
As the Rebels were holding their final practice of the season this afternoon in Ashburn, coach Eric Holland had the word 'finish' in big letters on a board under one basket.
Head coach Eric Holland said. "We feel like we left a lot of unfinished business on the court last year. The kids mindset is to finish this time."
Senior Tray Pearce said. "First year we made it to the final four, we were real nervous and doing crazy stuff. Now that we are used to that environment it is like we are pretty much playing in our gym."
Turner County will play Whitefield Academy at 12:45 p.m. Saturday for the class A boys state championship.
