AMERICUS, GA (WALB) –An Americus woman remains in jail on a dozen charges after a dangerous chase.

Investigators say 31-year-old Lucrista Johnson struck an Americus Police officer with her car Friday after learning she was wanted on outstanding warrants.

The officer wasn't seriously hurt.

Johnson led officers on a chase to the Crisp County line. Sumter County Deputies arrested her after she crashed trying to avoid stop sticks.

Charges include aggravated assault on a police officer, eluding police, and reckless driving.
