SYLVESTER, GA (WALB) –A longtime Dougherty County Police Officer is Sylvester's new chief of police. Captain Wayne Jennings has lived in Sylvester for 48-years.
He's a longtime Dougherty County Police officer who most recently served as Uniform Division Commander.
He takes over the Sylvester Police Department Monday morning.
