THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) – No charges have been filed in the death of a Thomasville woman who was struck and killed by a car Saturday night near Atlanta

Gwinnett County Police say 44-year-old Sherri D. Parker was trying to cross Buford Highway in Norcross when he she was struck by a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

She died at the scene. According to police reports, Parker was crossing in an area that does not have a marked cross-walk.
