ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A Darton College basketball player is charged with DUI and underage drinking.

She was arrested after she crashed into an Albany Police Car.

Police say 18 year old Tember Marchant ran a stop sign at Gillionville and West Broad Avenue just before midnight Wednesday, and t-boned a Police Car.

Officer Torryce Bryant was not seriously injured, but had to crawl out the other door of his cruiser.

Police say there were four other passengers in the car driven by Marchant, but they all ran away. Several Police officers were responding to an apartment on West Broad Avenue, for complaints about a loud party and underage drinking.

Darton College officials say they will meet about Marchant's team status Monday.
