VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - An up and down season for the Valdosta State Lady Blazers could be ending on an up note. ill said. "We have had so many droughts this year. we are just fortunate to be in the conference tournament. if we are able to make some noise, it will be a good day."The Lady Blazers play 1:30pm Thursday at the Gulf South Conference basketball tournament.
The VSU women are back in the GSC tournament and are the number two seed from the east division.
the Lady Blazers draw west number three Ouachita Baptist in the first game of the tournament on Thursday in Southhaven, Mississippi.
Head coach Kiley Hill says the offense has to get hot for his squad to make a run at the title.
