AMERICUS, GA (WALB) - Georgia Southwestern won their first ever Peach Belt Conference tournament game in convincing style 87-68 over Clayton State Tuesday at the Storm Dome.
Trayce Macon hit six three-point baskets and finished with 32 points for the Canes.
Georgia Southwestern earns their 20th win and will play UNC-Pembroke in the PBC semifinals at 8:00 p.m. Saturday at USC-Aiken.
GSW head coach Mike Leeder believes the first round win also locks up a first ever DII regional berth for the Hurricanes.
