ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A killer is going to prison after pleading guilty Tuesday to a 2009 double murder in Crisp County.
Corey Dennis pleaded guilty to two counts of murder, kidnapping, and armed robbery.
He and his brother Amin Dennis shot 51-year-old Jerry Lee Lawrence and 36-year-old Harold Reese in a Crisp County cotton field, then set their bodies on fire.
After his plea, Corey Dennis was sentenced to four life terms plus 30-years in prison.
Last year, his brother was sentenced to life without parole.
A third co-defendant, Jennifer McCleod, will be tried later.
