Americus, GA (WALB) -  Two South Georgia men were taken by ambulance to a hospital after a two truck crash in Americus.

About 12:30 Tuesday afternoon, two pick up trucks collided at the intersection of Parker Street and Tripp Street.

The Ford driven by 48-year-old Paul Ruff, Junior of Cordele was struck in the driver's door and turned onto its side.

Firefighters had to break out the windshield to get him out. 67-year-old Dr. James Herron of Americus was driving the other truck.

Both drivers claimed they had a green light, and Americus Police are still investigating the crash.
