QUITMAN, GA (WALB) - Two people are in jail right now, connected to a deadly weekend attack on an elderly south Georgia man.

19-year-old Brandon Najarren Travis is charged with murder, aggravated assault and burglary.  19-year-old Kanisha Denise McKinney is charged with aggravated assault and burglary, in connection with the death of 87-year-old Daniel Jones.

The Quitman man was found dead in his home in the Highland Avenue Apartments Sunday.

Police have not released a motive, an exact cause of death, or details of the case.  Investigators plan to talk more about it Wednesday.
