Meet 31-year-old Timothy Newberry. He is wanted on all kinds of charges for leading state troopers on a chase.
When a trooper tried to pull him over near Winn Dixie on North Slappey last week, he took off. Troopers say he sped down Slappey, cut through a church parking lot, turned onto Palmyra Road, then onto 14th Avenue where he wrecked the Explorer he was driving.
Then he jumped out and ran, crossed a creek, climbed a fence and disappeared into some woods. He seriously didn't want to get caught.
Timothy Newberry's got some pretty distinctive dreadlocks. His last known address is somewhere on Cleveland Avenue. If you know Timothy Newberry or know where police can find him, please give the Ga. State Patrol a call at 229-430-4248.
