WALB's Most Wanted: Ronald Lamar Mingo

A suspected burglar who beat up two Albany police officers and got away. 32-year old Ronald Lamar Mingo and police believe he may be a serial burglar in Northwest Albany.

Mingo was spotted by police after they got a suspicious person call to the 2700 Block of Pine Manor Lane ten days ago. When they tried to question him, he fought like a wildcat and injured both  Officers. Mingo was last spotted running near Westwind Apartments on Dawson Road. 

 Mingo's wanted for battery and two counts of felony obstruction of an officer. He's been known to live at several places on South Madison Street, Habersham Drive and Hobson Road.

If you recognize him and know where police can find him, please call Albany Crimestoppers at 436-TIPS. You can remain anonymous and you could get a reward of up to one thousand dollars.
