WALB's Most Wanted: Crystal Tawanna Williams

Posted: Updated:

On tonight's Most Wanted is a woman accused of stealing from a charity.  This is 29-year old Crystal Tawanna Williams and she's wanted for fraud.

Williams used to work for Open Arms, the non-profit child abuse shelter in Albany.

Police say in 2005, she stole a corporate credit card, and ran up nearly three thousand dollars in charges at WalMart and other stores. She quit her job and took off before the theft was discovered and has been in hiding ever since.

She's five feet tall, 135 pounds and has either black or red hair. Police believe Crystal Tawanna Williams is still in Georgia and could be using the name Crystal Tyson or another alias.

If you recognize this woman, please call Albany Crimestoppers at 229-436-TIPS. You could get a reward of up to one thousand dollars.
