WALB's Most Wanted: Michael Thomas Crews

July 10, 2007

Police want a Lee County man who went went on a rampage after his girlfriend broke up with him.

Thirty-two-year-old Michael Thomas Crews. There are seven warrants out for his arrest on everything from battery to burglary and stalking.

Lee County deputies say when Crews' girlfriend broke up with him in May, he assaulted her, threatened her and then later broke into her duplex on Helen Drive in Lee County and trashed it.

Deputies took pictures of the damage to the duplex, doors and walls were smashed, furniture and picture frames destroyed, TV's plumbing fixtures, even electrical outlets and dishes were damaged.

Deputies say Crews later returned to the duplex when his ex was there and threw her down and hit her. He was last seen leaving that duplex May 19, barefooted, wearing an orange striped polo shirt and blue jean shorts.

He's 5'10", 170 pounds and has brown hair. His last known address was on Sylvester Road at B&S Mobile Home Park lot # 17.

If you know where he is, please call the Lee County Sheriff's Office so they can get this guy off the streets.
