May 19, 2007

Warwick -- If you're looking for an adventure in south or central Georgia but aren't quite sure where to look, then you might want to check out the latest book by a Georgia native.

Author and television personality Suzanne Lawler made a stop in South Georgia on Saturday.

She was successful with her book "Cotton , Cornbread, and Conversations"

She paid a visit to a popular place mentioned in her new book "more Cotton, Cornbread, and Conversations," Striplings General Store in Warwick.

She mentions the store as a good place to find some good sausage.

"It really has been a wonderful project. There are a hundred things to do and see in this part of Georgia. A lot of people will come up and say, "there is nothing to do around here." And if you take the back roads and start talking to folks, there is a ton of things to do that people just haven't discovered yet," says Lawler.

Lawler is a sports reporter and news anchor in Macon, Georgia.
