Thomasville -- Vice President Dick Cheney did some shopping in Thomasville Tuesday afternoon. Apparently, the VP is in town on a hunting trip.
Crowds gathered outside Kevin's Sporting Goods store downtown to try to catch a glimpse of the Vice President as he left. Local law enforcement as well as Cheney's own security detail stood guard outside while the he did his shopping.
The Vice President's office rarely releases details of his travel schedule, but he regularly hunts on south Georgia plantations.
