Amusement park offers free gas

September 8, 2005

Valdosat - A South Georgia amusement park is helping its guests deal with the rising cost of gasoline.

Wild Adventures is offering free $5.00 gas cards with the purchase of any regular admission ticket or annual Passport.

Owner Kent Buescher says soaring gas prices make the cost of traveling to the park more than what many families have budgeted, and the gas cards will help keep their entertainment reasonably priced.

"A lot of our guests had been telling us that the price of fuel was impacting their trips to the park and their kids were disappointed so we decided to help them pay for the gas," said Buescher.

The gas card giveaway runs through September 30th. Cards are redeemable at any Shell Gas Station.
