Missing teen found in hometown

July 7, 2005

New Port Richey, Florida-- A Florida teenager who disappeared from a South Georgia amusement park was found safe in her hometown Wednesday night, and now her boyfriend's in trouble.

Tuesday, Lowndes County deputies searched around Wild Adventures for 17-year-old Leah Deltedesco. She was last seen there Saturday.

Lowndes County detectives got her 21-year old boyfriend's cell phone records which showed him using the phone in Lowndes County Saturday night.

They confronted Kaill Reinschmidt Wednesday night at a candlelight vigil for Leah in New Port Richey, Florida. He admitted hiding her for the past 4 days.

She was taken into custody and will be released to her family. Reinschmidt is charged with harboring a runaway and obstruction of justice.
