Java costs jolting

Albany - The coffee buzz you crave each morning may soon cost you a more. Coffee prices are more than twice what they were just a few weeks ago. The cost of coffee beans is up because of the to the tsunami that hit Indonesia and Sri Lanka, during the height of coffee harvesting season.

You'll first feel the jolt of the price hike in the grocery store, with brands like Maxwell house and Folders raising prices, then at coffee houses. But, many coffee drinkers says they'll foot the bill for their addiction! Joe McCollum said, "I call it my liquid ambition. I have it every morning to get me going. I'm going to continue to drink it."

Brown Bean Coffee in Albany hasn't raised prices yet, but the owner says they may have to because milk prices are so high right now too.
