AVONDALE, La. (AP) - PGA Tour star Jason Day says he expects to travel to Augusta on Friday to start practicing for the Masters, but could still pull out of the major, depending on his mother's prognosis following surgery for lung cancer last week. Day said Monday that the surgery was successful and now the family awaits some test results. Day says his mother has been urging him not to worry and focus on golf.

STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) - Top-seeded South Carolina beat No. 3 seed Florida State 71-64 on Monday night to win the Stockton Regional. Kaela Davis scored 23 points and A'ja Wilson added 16 for the Gamecocks, who return to the Final Four for the first time since 2015. South Carolina has both its men's and women's basketball teams in the Final Four.

TORONTO (AP) - DeMar DeRozan scored 36 points Monday night as the Toronto Raptors topped the Orlando Magic 131-112 for their sixth straight victory. Cory Joseph added 15 points and 13 assists for the Raptors, and Jonas Valanciunas had 17 points. Elfrid Payton had 22 points and nine assists for Orlando.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Kawhi Leonard had 25 points Monday night as the San Antonio Spurs routed the Cleveland Cavaliers 103-74. LaMarcus Aldridge and Pau Gasol added 14 points apiece for the Spurs, who won their fifth straight game. With the loss, Cleveland dropped a half-game behind Boston for the top seed in the Eastern Conference playoff standings.
