More than a half dozen Albany businesses reported break-ins or thefts Monday.

Crooks hit two businesses in the same strip mall in the 100 block of South Broadway Avenue just before 3:00AM.

Someone smashed the glass front door at Addicted 2 Retail and rifled the drawers, but took nothing.

Two doors down, someone broke the side window at Tim's Artistic Arts but stole nothing.

Both owners now must pay to repair the damage, and employees say they're frightened.

"It's kind of nervous wrecking," Erica Parks of Tim's Artistic Arts. "Don't know what's going to happen next. Kind of scary really."

No one has been arrested. Police are investigating to see if the same burglars are responsible for the two break-ins.
