After a two hour hearing, the Albany City Commission voted 4 to 2 to put the club Applejax on probation, and not suspend its alcohol license.
In a hearing today before the City Commission, a security guard at the lounge testified that club security was instructed not to call police when fights broke out at the lounge, in violation of city code.
The Applejax parking lot was the scene of an attempted robbery in March in which two men were stabbed to death.
A grand jury ruled the man who killed them was justified, acting in self defense.
