ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Albany Tech basketball teams are building for the future with local talent.
Titan head coach Sylvester Patterson adding 6 new players to his roster including former Monroe High guard Anthony Mackey and Terrell County's Robert Ellis.
The Lady Titans were busy as well signing 6 players including Dougherty's Jasmine Lavant, Westover's Latisha Williams and Calhoun County's Gabrielle Christopher.
Lady Titans head coach Kenneth Williams said. "We were able to pick up some great players from this area and that was real important. This area has a history of having great players and that's one of the things we'll defiantly look at."
Both coaches plan on adding more players in the coming weeks

Titans head coach Sylvester Patterson said. "Albany is just such a hot bed for basketball. We want to have a great relationships with the coach around here. We've picked players over the last four years from each of those schools and players come in and they are ready to play."
