Authorities say that about $20,000 worth of copper has been reported stolen over the last few days in Dougherty COunty.

Managers at Paradise Village Mobile Homes say that vandals got inside as many as 30 vacant homes, and stripped copper wiring from them. The vandalism was discovered over the weekend.

And for the third time in recent months, copper wiring was stripped from a large irrigation system on a farm on Spring Flats Road.

Dougherty County law enforcement is investigating these cases.
