A severe weather outbreak is ongoing across Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama.
This afternoon and evening it will continue to spread east. Threats will include damaging winds, large hail and a few tornadoes.
These storms will move into West Georgia around midnight. Storms will start to break up by then.
Although storms become less numerous they still have a good potential to be severe, producing damaging winds, large hail and an isolated tornado.
The threat will last to daybreak Saturday. Storms should end mid morning to early afternoon west to east across South Georgia.
