Nashville Better Home town is selling a building for $100.
The building is art deco style in the heart of downtown Nashville on Marion Street. They're raffling it off. Three hundred tickets are being sold for a $100 each. The Nashville Better Hometown director says the building was donated to them. It does need work but it could be a good investment. It was built in 1938. It's two stories and ticket sales begin Wednesday.
"All the money goes back to downtown into different projects we're working on," said Nashville Better Hometown Director Dawn Morrison. "One of our projects is the downtown center where we opened a buisness incubator where 50 entreprenuers have located their busineses and that's a project we try to keep going."
The drawing will be held June 2 at the Nashville Community Center. The first ticket drawn wins back their $100.
The drawing begin at 7 p.m. The first ticket drawn wins back their $100! The 50th, 100th, 150th, 200th, 250th, will all win Berrien Bucks, cash prizes or gift certificates to downtown businesses. The 300th ticket drawn will win the building!
Ticktes will be sold at the Better Hometown Office located at the Berrien County Historic Courthouse. For more information call Dawn Morrison at 686-9290.
