A Fitzgerald man is in jail facing numerous charges after he gunned down two dogs for attacking his pet Chihuahua, all this in front of a little girl on Sunday.
Police say Jeremy Bell ran to his neighbors house on Snowden Lane after the dog attack armed with a 10 millimeter handgun, he began shooting striking a Lab and a Bulldog.
The Lab died and the bulldog survived despite being shot 3 times including once in the eye.
Bell faces a number of charges, including 2 counts of aggravated cruelty to animals and reckless conduct.
