Bank of America donated $30,000 to Albany Community Together. ACT was chosen from hundreds of Southwest Georgia applicants.
It was part of Bank of America's nationwide Small Business Micro Lending Program. And they were chosen from this area because of their impact on the small businesses community.
This new credit line will allow them to help at least 20 small business entrepreneurs.
"Our focus is to make sure that we help the small business community," said Cynthia Young of Bank of America.
Albany Community Together has helped at least 100 other small businesses get off the ground.
