LOGAN CO., OHIO (WALB) – Nearly a month after the remains of a murdered elderly Ohio woman were discovered in a south Georgia cotton field, the man accused of killing her along with her husband and another woman has agreed to enter a guilty plea

Officials with the Logan County District Attorney's Office in Ohio say Samuel K. Littleton offered to plead guilty to the murders of Gladis and Dick Russell, along with the murder of his girlfriend's 26-year-old daughter.

In exchange for the plea, he'll be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Littleton was arrested by authorities in West Virginia in February driving the Russell's stolen car.

Investigators discovered the body of 84-year-old Dick Russel in Chattanooga last month. The remains of his wife, Gladis, were found two weeks later just north of Vienna.

Relatives say they're satisfied with the plea.
