The Anchorage says the community responded to their call for help.

Inside the dorm and the classroom building work is underway to replace the insulation and drywall. The repairs all together cost 104 thousand dollars. Community donations poured in to help pay for the portion the insurance did not cover.

The Anchorage Executive Director Kenny Phillips said  "Through Sunday School classes and other church projects. Individuals still coming out and asking about volunteer efforts. And still sending a little money here and there. That has considerably helped."

Nine men from the Anchorage are still living at the Graceway Substance Abuse Center in Albany while the repair work continues. They hope to have all the repairs completed by the end of May.
