VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -
A suspected hit and run driver is at the hospital now being treated for a cut on his face.
Phillip Barnes was driving a Yukon and hit a Mustang driven Anthony Miller at the intersection of Clay and Howell Road and took off.
The vehicle crashed near Southers Lane and Howell Road. Barnes ran off in the woods.
A 19-year-old passenger in the Mustang was pregnant, and was also taken to the hospital to be checked out.
The GSP plans to charge Barnes with Hit and Run, driving too fast for conditions, and running a stop sign.
