Cairo residents hit the lottery

Two South Georgians from the same town hit it big in the Georgia Lottery!

Angela Jones, from Cairo, is $10,000 richer after playing the Georgia Lottery's Maximum Green game. Jones, a Thomas County office manager, says she's very happy about her winnings.

Maximum Green is an instant game with five million dollar top prizes.

Cairo resident Randy Johnson also hit the lottery. Johnson won $20,000 after playing the $3,000,000 Taxes Paid game.

Johnson, a car dealership employee, says he first plans to pay off bills with his lottery win.

Both Cairo residents won by playing extra chance drawings.
