    Five months after the mysterious murder of a Coffee County woman, people gathered Tuesday night in Douglas to remember her and to launch a community effort to make sure her case isn't forgotten. Friends

Burglars hit five Lakeland businesses and an empty building early Friday morning.

They kicked in doors at the Junction, the building next to the Junction, H & R Block...the Burger Shack, an appraisal business on Center Street, and Ganas Hardware.

About $750 was taken from the Junction and other business are checking their inventory to see what was stolen.

Police say the suspects were probably after money. They're following leads. A witness saw three suspects jump in a red pontiac car and take off on Franklin Street. If you have any information they want you to call them at (229) 482-3309.
