Pirates pillage Cavaliers

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - CVCC scored 9 runs in the second inning and the Pirates cruised to a 15-3 win in 7 innings over Darton Thursday.

The Pirates saw nine consecutive batters reach base in the big second inning.

Darton will put the non-conference loss behind them and focus on a big weekend series at Andrew starting Friday afternoon.

Over in Douglas, ABAC defeated South Georgia College 6-3.

College softball, Darton sweeps South Georgia.

Lady Cavs win 6-0, 3-1 and are 8-0 in conference play.
