VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Albany's Josh Broadaway is going to be part of the field for the annual Nationwide Tour's South Georgia Classic in three weeks.
Broadaway has been given a sponsor's exemption for the South Georgia Classic at Kinderlou Forest.
A member of the Nationwide Tour for the past six seasons, Broadaway has played in every South Georgia Classic.
Last month, Broadaway finished 43rd at the PGA tour's Honda Classic after making the field in a Monday qualifying tournament.
Former Atlanta Braves pitcher John Smoltz has also earned a sponsor exemption to the South Georgia Classic.
It will be the first appearance in a PGA Tour co-sanctioned even for the future baseball hall of famer.
The South Georgia Classic runs April 25-May 1.
