More than one hundred people have signed up for Dougherty County's emergency notification system since the storms hit.

The Code RED High Speed Notification system calls people during a dangerous situation such as Tuesday's storms.

If you're registered, you'll get a call that delivers an automated message of warning or information.

This week's severe weather that hit in the middle of the night convinced a lot of people to sign up.

Dougherty EMA Deputy Director Jim Vaught said "Anytime we have severe weather, the very next day I go into the codeRED system, and there will always be a number of people who are trying to sign up for the program. It keys them. I meant to do that, now I'm really going to go ahead and do it. "

Dougherty County emergency officials urge you to sign up.  You can register here.
