Albany - Mediacom announced today the channels to which WALB ABC will be assigned.
In the Albany area, WALB ABC will be on Channel 9, while WALB ABC HD will be on Channel 809.
In the Pearson area, WALB ABC will be on Channel 7, HD on Channel 807.
In the Fitzgerald area, WALB ABC will be on Channel 10, HD on Channel 810.
In the Camilla area, WALB ABC will be on Channel 2, HD on Channel 802.
In the Moultrie area, WALB ABC will be on Channel 5, HD Channel 805.
WALB ABC will launch April 27th.
DISH and Direct TV have also signed agreements to carry the new ABC affiliate.
WALB NBC will remain on its current channels.
